January   12, 2011 (Wednesday) – American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizens (CGC) 6pm

January 18, 2011 (Tuesday) – American Kennel Club’s STAR puppy program 7pm

January 26, 2011 (Wednesday) – Beginner Attention (all ages, no other classes needed) 7pm

January 29, 2011 (Saturday) – American Kennel Club STAR Puppy Program 9am

February  1, 2011 (Tuesday)- Beginner Obedience 6pm

 
 Course Descriptions:

Freshman Obedience (FP) : Four-week session which includes Intro to Clicker, recall (come when called), sit, sit for dinner, down, puppy socialization and lecture. You will also have a phone consultation and one personal session after the group classes!

Pre-requisite: 5 months and under; vaccinations appropriate for age of puppy.

Sophomore Obedience(SB): Six-week session which includes Intro to Clicker, sit, sit for dinner, down, recall (come when called), wait, sit/down stay, loose leash walking.

Pre-requisite: 6 months +, proof of rabies vaccination, vaccinations appropriate for age of dog/puppy.

Junior Obedience (JI): Six-week session which includes sit and down on voice cue only, sit and down with hand signals, stay with distractions, stand, front, heeling, place. This class will also prepare you for the AKC Canine Good Citizens (CGC) test!!

Pre-requisite: 6 months of age +, proof of rabies vaccination, Freshman Obedience.

Senior Obedience (SA): Six-week session which includes longer distance stays with distractions, recalls with longer distance and distractions, stand for exam, place, tricks

Pre-requisite: 6+ months of age, proof of rabies vaccination, Sophomore Obedience.

Clown College: Six-week session which includes target training, tricks, wave, salute, high five, roll over, around, back, bow, weave, jump, turn

Pre-requisite: 5+months Sophomore Obedience.


Beginner Attention (BA): Six-week session geared toward competition but applicable in everyday life. This class teaches your dog to pay 100% attention to you on a verbal cue, instructs you in precision footwork and helps you and your dog look like a smooth working team. Pre-requisite: none

Advanced Attention (AA): Six-week session starting where Beginner Attention leaves off. Helps you perfect your footwork with more precision. Works on off leash heeling and stays. Pre-requisite: Beginner Attention.

 

Clown College (CC): Six- week session, dogs must know all of the basic commands prior to class. In this class your dog will learn to wave, paw, high five, crawl, roll over, and a bunch more.  Fun class, lots of laughs!

 

Extra Help: Day by day sessions that provide the extra help that you and your dog need. If you would prefer a training class that is one on one, or problem solving this is for you. These classes are personally tailored to your particular needs.
