PROTEINS: We use a combination of fresh Lamb, Fish and Chicken meats. The meats are reduced into a meal by grinding to remove excess water; this process is necessary for production only.
HERBS: Nature's herbs are an ideal source to help assist your pet's body in optimum health. They are designed to work together in balance and not in excess. Polyphenols from Green Tea Extract, Beta Carotene from Barley Grass, Chlorella, Blue Green Algae (Spirulina), Rosemary, Sage, Echinacea, Wheatgrass Juice Powder and Barley grass Juice Powder. Minerals, vitamins, natural dry broth and probiotics (live plant enzymes) are added to various formulas to aid in digestion and nutrition.
VEGETABLES and GRAINS: (Phytochemicals); Food components with disease-preventing elements. A medley of garden vegetables, greens and whole grains (Tomatoes, Carrots, Red/Green Bell Peppers, Garlic, Celery, Parsley, Peas, Potatoes, Spinach, Broccoli, Pasta, Rice, Brown Rice Powder, Toasted Oats and Whole Wheat are used in varying portions within our formulas).
FLAX: High in fiber and alpha linolenic acid, Flax, is an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acid for a healthy, shiny coat. It also helps your pet's auto-immune system against diseases, and Flax resists oxidation from the baking process, helping improve product shelf life.

FEEDING
Young kittens may be started on Flint River Ranch by mixing with a little warm water. Feed food dry as soon as the kitten's teeth are strong enough to chew hard foods (8 to 10weeks). Feed kittens about 3 times a day-after six months, twice a day. Adult cats (1 year) can be fed twice a day. This depends upon what keeps your cat happy. Your cat should be looking for food when the next meal is due.
